Recently my husband and I went to Downtown Disney for an evening date. As we strolled through the West Side area we happened to notice that the old music place was under construction. Than as we approached the construction site we read of a upcoming bowling alley called Splitsville. Now how exciting is that!
My hubby and I used to love bowling. But ever since we both ended up with back problems we haven't gone back to bowling. Now that Splitsville is coming to Downtown Disney we are totally looking forward to it, especially when we found out more details of the place.
Yes, we were excited when we read that Splitsville not only will have bowling lanes for the bowling fans. But it also will have billiards tables, which my husband and I won't have problems playing. And what about when we get hungry? Well Splitsville has a dinning room lounge filled with gourmet food. And we are not talking about the usual hot dogs and hamburgers. Their kitchen will be serving hand-cut steaks to hand tossed pizza's, from fresh rolled sushi to their other specialty entrees and desserts.
And perhaps after we shoot pool for a while and have dinner we can switch to music and dancing. Of course very cautiously. We wouldn't want to make our backs go out.
Splitsville will be coming to Downtown Disney in the Fall of 2012. So guess where we will be? In the meanwhile we can enjoy their other locations. For more information come visit: SplitvilleLanes.Com.
